Wants to throw my ipad
(I am going to preemptively say- I have no idea what the terms are. I have not sat down to watch a full youtube tutorial- I’ve just been eyeballing it and googling whenever I got stuck. Mainly because I don’t like majority of the YouTube tutorials I’ve seen. Also I’m using an iPad.) Now onto the issue: -I’m making several individual curves and I had been putting them into one stack with no issue (not grouping). |See photos 1-2.| -For some reason I can’t get the rest of my curves to stack like in photos 1-2. Whenever I try to stack another set of curves, one of them disappears. |See photos 3-4| It’s all in one project, so I don’t know what’s wrong. Dan C
Hi @Wants to throw my ipad, Welcome to the Affinity Forums I can see from the screenshot you've provided that you have 'nested' one curve within another in the Layers Studio. This action would mean the 'nested' curve only shows within the 'Fill' section of the Curve layer it has been nested into - however as your Curve is an 'open' straight line, there is no fill for the Curve to show within, therefore it appears to 'disappear'. This works correctly for the above screenshot, as the area between the Curve object is a 'fill' area, and as such the nested curves appear within. I'd recommend un-nesting the Curve layer from within the other Curve layer (by simply click and dragging it on the Layers Studio to its own layer) and you should see the Curve return. If needed you can then Group these layers together, rather than nesting the layers to keep them together. I hope this helps! Wants to throw my ipad
Okay so the nesting only works with shapes, not lines. Thank you. Dan C

Unclear what you are trying to do but maybe using merge layers or create a new vector layer and nest them that way.
