Hi @km.au,

Thanks for your report!

I can confirm our team are aware of slow loading times for the Affinity apps currently, due to a change in the way Apple security scan their apps in Catalina onwards:

We hope to have this addressed I'm a future update, I hope this clears things up :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

I'm not sure it's that.

A Window will pop up saying it can't find my NAS / server.

The server is online but I changed the SMB connections and macOS itself doesn't have an issue connecting.

However I can't find any reference inside Affinity Photo to where, how or why it is accessing the old smb address?

Can you please provide a screenshot of the dialog you are seeing?

Unless you are loading a file, or have stored the Affinity app on your NAS, I would not expect the Affinity app to be accessing this when opening, and this isn't something I've heard happening before.

Many thanks in advance!
