It's been unchecked.

This constant shutting down started a few days ago...I have no idea why.  It's ever been problematic.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble @Nita Reed!

As well as the above setting change, I'd also recommend making sure your GPU drivers are fully up to date, directly from the manufacturers website - as outdated drivers is one of the most common causes for crashing in Affinity.

Thank you for the response!

I finlly resigned myself to resetting my PC...works great again!  (Totally not looking forward to uploading styles, macros and LUTs tho)
