spatters1000 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 I'm want to resize a circle (or other shape) with the center of the circle being the anchor point, such that when I drag a corner handle it resizes the circle equally around the center point. It seems that all I'm able to do is resize the circle (constrained using Shift key, etc.) but it it anchors at one of the corners such that I then have to move the circle back to the center and realign it, etc. I've clicked the center dot on the Transform panel but it doesn't seem to make any difference in the way the resize performs. What am I doing wrong? Quote
GarryP Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Have you tried using CTRL, possibly in conjunction with SHIFT, while dragging one of the handles? See my attached video where I first use CTRL, and then use CTRL+SHIFT. If this is not what you want then you may need to give us more detailed information. 2022-07-27 08-03-21.mp4 Quote
spatters1000 Posted July 27, 2022 Author Posted July 27, 2022 This is exactly what I needed. It solves my problem. Thank you! Quote
R C-R Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 @spatters1000, for future reference, note that the status bar at the bottom of the window includes info about the tools & modifier key options, & that it changes depending on where the pointer is on the document. So for example, when you grab a corner handle with the Move Tool, as in @GarryP's video, one of the items there is "Ctrl to resize around the center."
