Selection by color

Suppose I have a model wearing a Red T-shirt in a photo. What is the easiest way to change the color of the T-shirt to other specific colors? 

 

This is an ecommerce application. For example, I have a T-shirt in an eShop with many colors. When a browser clicks a Color swatch, the product photo changes to that specific color with all other backgrounds unchanged.

 

I understand I can use the recolor adjustment layer, however, it is difficult to change to a specific pantone color with this approach.

 

Any better way?

I think you're looking for something similar to what Capture One Pro 9's new tool does. It's a really slick implementation if people haven't seen it: Using the colour editor

 

Maybe there's an equivalent method in Affinity Photo. I'd like to learn it too if there is one.

Yes....This is the thing I want. Hope this is a similar tools in AF. Now, I can only do it manually with the HSL adjustment in Affinity Photo.

 

This feature is important to any eshop selling fashion. Hope AF will have this feature in future

I don't like their workflow so much but this color picker wheel is definitely needed.

 

It's also in FCPX for green screen effects.

 

And the tonal range selection in AP is still a bit inflexible. So such a color wheel picker would be very much appreciated ;)
