I have just bought Affinity Designer for iPad. It looks like a very powerful app.

I wonder if there is a way to manage what I see in the welcome page when l start Affinity Designer. How can l organize the drawings l make? I want to make folders and manage the order.

Right now I see a folder that contains sample pictures. Is it possible to close that or change the front picture?

Hi @Trine and welcome to the forums :)

To hide the samples when you first open the app, go to Settings (top right) and in the General settings (first entry) uncheck Show tutorials and samples.

To add folders, tap “+” (top right) and select New project. You can either drag your documents in, or start new projects inside.

All the best!

Be aware the page you refer to shows (your) proprietary formatted files that are contained ONLY in the apps sandboxed memory area. You should always tap the Save option to create a 'real' file (afdesign/afphoto) in a folder outside of the app. These can then be accessed, moved , copied or otherwise shared via file managers. Proprietary files cannot be accessed by file managers and are not easily recoverable in the (all too common) event that the apps files become corrupted. In summary, Save externally or risk losing some or all of your drawings. 🙂
