nicola_0826 Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Hello I lately purchased the Affinity Photo Workbook (which I find is a great book...) and was well able to download the Exercise Images for the various chapters. However, I didn't find any pictures for Chapter 1 - Interface Tour and wasn't able to download the resources mentioned on page 89 Developing RAW Images i.e. exposere_adjustment.ORF, tonal_adjustments.RW2 andadvance-adjustments.RW2. I would very much appreciate if someone would help me any further. Thanks and regards nicola_0826 Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I don't think there is anything in chapter 1 that requires specific images, and as far as I know the book doesn't provide samples there. For chapter 2, the download instructions are on the top of page 86 (first white page of the chapter, in my edition), under the heading "BEFORE YOU GET STARTED", in the Resources section. Just type that address exactly as shown into the address bar of your web browser and it should download a .zip file. Unzip that file, and you'll find all the resouces for that chapter. nicola_0826 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iconoclast Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 By the way, the Affinity Workbooks don't seem to be available any longer. Only on Amazon, Ebay and others. Sad but true. I'm glad that I purchased the Publisher Workbook some month ago. It is really good. Quote
nicola_0826 Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 Hi iconoclast Thanks for your reply. I found still a 'new' Photo Work Book two weeks ago at Amazon and ordered it right away. I am happy I still got one; it's a great book. According to Affinity there isn't any new edition planned right now... Regards Klaus iconoclast 1 Quote
