I have created a text frame and split it into columns, but when I then type into the frame instead of the text flowing downwards onto the next line of the left hand column, it goes straight across to top of the right-hand column. Which sort of defeats the point of having columns in the first place. Admittedly when importing text from another document it does flow downwards in the normal way. But I want to type directly into the frame not import text. I can't find anything online to help with this problem. Can anyone advise?

Hi, @ISS and welcome to the forums.

Can you confirm that your textbox with columns looks similar to mine?
