applepen Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Hi there, After updating from mac OS 12.3.0 to 12.3.1, I'm experiencing issues with Affinity Designer. Specifically, creating a new document or opening an existing file causes the flywheel of the death. I performed the usual solutions, such as uninstalling and installing the app, or performing the SMC reset. Anyone else having the same issue or is it just me? Quote
applepen Posted April 3, 2022 Author Posted April 3, 2022 NVRAM reset has solved the issue. MikeTO 1 Quote

This is RAM that is powered by a battery to hold certain information about your computer while the computer is turned off. Hold down the P + R + Command and Option keys while starting up your machine. Wait until you hear the startup chime a second time. this will reset to factory defaults. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Mary Helen Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Thank you to both of you for your suggestions. I did the restart as suggested - 2 times. Still no change. Quote
