lpjohnston Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) How to use selection brush tool to cut out an object from the background to edit, rotate, place it in another image. I can select what I want to remove but I can't locate the "delete" button to finish. There is a delete button I can see, but it is "grayed out" so I can't. I thought selecting part of an image meant I can delete it...true? I get that the image has to be "unlocked" first to do this Edited March 28, 2022 by lpjohnston More info Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Click the Delete key or Backspace key on your keyboard. Or use the menu, Edit > Delete. Note that you need to be selecting from an layer that shows as a (Pixel) layer in the Layers panel. If it shows as (Image) you'll need to rasterize it first.
