Hi,

I would like to ask for help, I am trying to find a solution for hours now. I have this transparent monkey, I would like to fill it with white color (which is now transparent), except the outer corners. I thougt this will be easy, but I am failing.

I added a new layer and a full sized white rectangle:

...is there any easy way to remove the background on the marked areas to make transparent again? Maybe I am on a completely wrong path.

Affinity Photo.

  • Expand the Layer and click on the bottom Curve
  • Duplicate that curve (cmd + J)
  • Click on the bottom curve again
  • Go to Layer > Geometry > Divide (or use menu as per video below)
  • Go to Layer > Geometry > Add (or use menu as per video below)
  • Change the fill colour to white
