Hi Everyone :D

When I open my Affinity Photo there is no option to activate the registration.

Online in my account it shows Publisher and Designer are registered, but not  Photo,

as well with no way to register it.

I bought Affinity Photo a year ago. Is that the problem?

How can I still register it?

Any help well appreciated,

Jeff :)

Where did you purchase Photo, what OS do you use, and what release are you running?

Is the 'My Account' icon not shown in the top right of the app? How about under Help > My Account...? :)

Hi Dan!

:D

Yes, I saw and went to that menu and there is no button or link to register.

If it is already registered, it is not showing with the other 2 products in my online signin account for Affinity....

Thanks for confirming that for me and for the screenshot provided!

I can verify this shows that you have registered the Affinity app with your Affinity account - though it's certainly strange this is not appearing within your registered list online.

I'd recommend the following:

  1. Open the My Account dialog in Affinity Photo
  2. Select the 'Sign Out' option above your name on the left
  3. Click Yes to the dialog that appears (you should now be signed out from the My Account section)
  4. Close the Affinity app, then restart this.
  5. Once reopened, follow the same process as the other apps to sign back into your Affinity account

Does the app now appear within your 'Registered devices' list online? :)

Thanks Dan for the direction forward!

Forgive the ridiculously late response,

embarrassingly slow response here, :3_grin:

as I am running a PC  NEC Intel Celeron( 2-core) CPU 1000M @ 1.80GHz,

BUT it has lasted 11 years with a lot of graphic, genealogical work,

& birdwatching photos edited.

I hope to upgrade within a year, before windows 10 hits the wall in 2024.

1. I signed out of the app.

2. I closed the app

3. I opened the app again

4. I was offered to register the app

5. Yes Please!

6. i was asked to go the the online sign

7. I signed in online and was greeted with a Voila! your registered.

8. i signed in online again to check and yes indeedyI was there!

So

well appreciated for your time Dan! Thank you so much! :D :D

Now, I need to go find out if i can transfer licences to my new machine,

when this one has hit the wall.

Thanks again!

Jeff :)
