imagegod Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Hey All: I'm having problems with the 'Mesh Warp Tool...whenever I make a partial selection in a specific file--that is, when I select an object INSIDE a photographic image-- when I open the mesh tool, it selects the ENTIRE image. For the life of my, I can't get it to select the actual selection. I tried merging down...I tried closing and opening the file. Nothing seems to work. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong...unfortunately, I have no idea what. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated...Thanks! Quote
NotMyFault Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 What you observe is how the mesh warp is implemented. It does ignore selections and always affects the selected layer in total. To limit its reach to a selected area, copy/paste it into a new layer, and apply mesh warp to that layer.
