Its_Jack
I've been using designer for about a week now, and today I noticed one of my fonts isn't displaying the font weights correctly. The font is Red Hat Display and I downloaded it from google fonts. I've checked all over the forums for a solution with no luck. I've attached a screenshot where you can see that all of my font weights are now turned to "light" or "light italic". I'm on the latest version of windows 10 (as of jan 24 2022) and latest version of designer as well. It works fine everywhere else I've tried and is installed and displayed correctly in Windows. I tried reinstalling the fonts. I restarted my computer as well. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Its_Jack. That probably indicates you're using a variable font. The Affinity applications do not support variable fonts yet. You probably need to uninstall it, and pick the standard version of the font from the "static" folder instead.
