Tools not deselecting

When making adjustments in Develop module the sliders are activating the last selected tool and applying the properties of that tool

Which OS are you using?

Which Sliders do you mean? Can you provide a screenshot or video that illustrates the problem to help us understand it?

The adjustment sliders do not activate any of the tools in the Tools panel, nor do they affect how the properties of any of the tools in the Tools panel are applied, so it is hard to understand what you mean or what your problem really is.

Windows 10 64 Bit. In the below example the Hand Tool was the last used tool in my editing process.When doing initial developments e.g selecting saturation when moving the slider the image itself moves as opposed to applying the intended adjustment. I am possibly overlooking something here.
