markimark
I miss the ability to easily copy/cut a selection from one layer to a new layer. I've noticed that it's tedious in the number of steps to do this, unless I'm completely missing something as I'm new to Affinity Photo. I would prefer to not even have to change context to pointer to get the selection to copy/cut. walt.farrell
What kind of layers are you working with, and what kind of selections? If you're talking about pixel layers and selections, it should be as simple as Copy/Paste ( Ctrl+J (Windows) or Cmd+J (Mac)). If the Layers panel is showing (Image) as the layer type you need to Rasterize the layer to access the individual pixels first.
