How to get brushes to show up in Designer Persona (and not pixel persona)?

I had a question revolving Affinity Designer:

When I go to import brushes onto Affinity Designer, I can never get them to show up in the Designer Persona but they always seem to show up in the Pixel Persona. I do not want them there as they are not as easy to control and don't work as well in the Pixel Persona.

Am I doing something wrong, or are some of these files not made for the Designer Persona?

Welcome and Merry Christmas @Sklitch,

There's a difference in brushes used in Designer. You have Vector Brushes:

which are available only in the Designer Persona.

and Paint Brushes  which are Pixel brushes

https://affinity.help/designer/en-US.lproj/pages/Tools/tools_paintBrush.html

Those brushes that are Pixel, Paint Brushes will only be available in the Pixel Persona.

Short version: you are not doing anything wrong. Brushes work only in the persona they were designed for. There is no way to force any of them to appear in any other persona.
