How To Mass Export as SVG

Hello

Just wondering how do I get a bunch of affinity photo files and export them all as SVGs all in one go?

Why do you want to export a lot of Photo documents to SVG in a batch?
What sort of layers do the documents contain?
If they don’t contain any vectors then exporting to SVG will probably not be much use except under specific conditions.

This doesn't work in Affinity Photo, which has batch processing, nor in Affinity Desiger.

Hey @GarryP

All of the files are made solely from vectors. Would you have any recommendations on how to bulk export them? Or would I need to do it manually in this case?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Well first of all and just for clarification, exporting bitmaps/fotos into the SVG format will yield to embedded bitmaps in SVG files. Meaning that there is no automatic vector conversion or the like applied behind the scenes here if the affinity photo files are bitmap/raster.

As there is no batch processing option for bulk saving affinity photo files to SVG, you would have to use the Export Persona as a workaround for this task. Aka loading  placing all affinity photo files into one document and then use the Export Persona for exporting those as SVGs.

Try the Export Persona with all files loaded/placed into one doc, select/setup the file layers and try to export each of them as an SVG.
