kmarquart Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 When I am using the erase tool it works as expected about 80% of the times I place the brush on the artwork. However, randomly, it will move with the brush but not erase anything underneath the erase tool. It is not related to the size of the brush and the Opacity, Flow and Hardness are 100% although this isn't a factor as the problem persists independant of these settings. The problem goes away after lifting the brush and lowering again to continue erasing. It would be nice to have a Settings function that would indicate the characteristics of the input from the stylus, such as pressure and slope, etc., in order to see what is read by the Affinity application rather than what Wacom's interface shows within Windows10. I'm on version 1.10.4 with Win10 on Intel 64bit. Wacom Bamboo CTH-460/K Quote
Staff Lee D Posted November 26, 2021 Staff Posted November 26, 2021 Do you find this only occurs when using a tablet? Can you check to see if you have Hardware Acceleration enabled in Preferences > Performance? If so please disable restart the app and try again, as this setting can cause some strange issues with adjustments and tools that our developers are looking into. Quote
kmarquart Posted November 26, 2021 Author Posted November 26, 2021 Hardware acceleration was already disabled. I've attached a screenshot of the Performance settings. Maybe the Nvidia card is an issue. Quote
