Hi,

for some reason if I export my document in Afpublisher to PDF, the parts on the page placed by the master page get a "imprint":

This is my header after I exported it, I created it with master pages. Could it be a problem with the erase effect I used on an object to have the right space for my sectionname?

Also: For some reason my text and my logo (which is a svg) gets rasterized when I export it. Is there a way to avoid that?

Things get rasterized on export if Effects are used.

What is that image supposed to look like?

In Afpub:

I use two layers of text with the Sectionname-Placeholder. One has a background color and outline and the "erase" effect on it. I also group all content of the header and have a "transfer" effect on the group.

Well, after a bit testing I removed all layer-effects and now it works. But now I have the problem that I can't erase the space for the Sectionname-Placeholder text. Is there a way to dodge that erase for the same result?

The bold terms are confusing me.

This is how I would set things up. I have a Decoration on the Paragraph Style for the little line to the left of the word Culture. The vertical bars after the term are just the vertical bar | from the type.

There are no special effects or blending  on anything. I just moved the rectangle with the colour gradient down a bit to show there is nothing fancy happening.

Sorry. They are both blendings.

Your solution is quite simple, but it doesn't work with other objects interfering the lines (for example a logo). Is there a way to solve this with masks?

What other objects?

What does "interfering the lines" mean? Covering up the lines? Put the logo underneath them.

Are "the lines" the vertical bars? Or are "the lines" entire lines of text.

Hi FelixDE,

Are you referring to the semi transparent box around your text where the text frame outline is likely to be? If you are and this only appears on export we will likely need a copy of the file to see why this is happening. If you would rather not post it publicly let me know and I will send you a direct message with a private upload link.

Thanks
