Staff Callum Posted November 22, 2021 Staff Posted November 22, 2021 Hi Willy Pimentel, Please could you tell me which version of Designer you are using and if possible could you provide a screenshot of the performance section of the apps preferences? v_kyr Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Well, I can also imagine that there are actually some Monterey specific/related side effects available then, since that has also still bugs. - See for example ... Further memory leaks can slow down macOS 12 Monterey ... etc. Willy Pimentel 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
Willy Pimentel Posted December 2, 2021 Author Posted December 2, 2021 It must be. It only happens when I have big brochure/menus. which are at least a gig Quote Willy PimentelM1 Imac 16gb Mac os Ventura Latest
Willy Pimentel Posted December 30, 2021 Author Posted December 30, 2021 I continue getting crashes when selecting multiple items in the Export Persona. Does Affinity gets the crash reports whenever we sent this to apple? Quote Willy PimentelM1 Imac 16gb Mac os Ventura Latest

I doubt that, thus you better post your issue and crash report (together with all needed infos to reproduce like OS and AD version etc.) into the appropriate forum section, in your case: "Designer Bugs found on MacOS". Tombobo Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Im have been getting a lot of spinning beach balls since I moved to M1 as well. Both Designer and Photo hang and freeze a lot. Its very frustrating. It seems really random as well- sometimes when im selecting something, or moving something, or adjusting something. Very disruptive to workflow. Latest version of Monterey (12.3.1) and latest updates of Affinity designer (1.10.5)/ Photo (1.10.5) Quote

Are there any solutions here? Quote
