Affinity Photo crash when working with large files

I'm having the same issue, large files causing crashes, 24MP files

It's a total coincidence that I use a GTX 1660 Ti like the original poster

Hi @frank26080115,

I've split your post from this one.  It's always best to create a separate post for this type of issue, as it makes support easier and its possible you've got a different issue to the one mentioned in that thread.

While i'm getting the crash reports looked at, can you open Affinity and click Edit>Preferences>Performance and if openCL is enabled, untick it and you'll be asked to restart Affinity.  Once restarted, try using Affinity and let me know the results.

I was having the same problem and unticking openCL seems to make the problem go away.

Thanks for a hint! I was going to send crash report that my 2,8gb affinity file crashes when zooming, but turning off OpenCL helps.

Team, it seems that hardware acceleration is very buggy. I have Nvidia Quadro P1000, Windows 11, 32gb ram and I can share this file if you need something to reproduce the problem.
