Hello!  I am new to Affinity.  I am very limited in my knowledge of the program, but have been able to piddle around to create some nice all-over shirts and flyers.  Oftentimes, I'm stuck with sizing and all of that, so it takes me a lot before I get close to a good print.  I am currently stuck with printing specific pages.  Something happened when I was printing. I have a Mac OS BigSur 11.5.2.  I am not getting an option to print a specific page.  I can only choose odd or even pages.  I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me.  Thank you!

Thank you very much for responding.  If it's ok, I would like to share 3 screenshot images with you to show what I see after I go to file menu and select print.  The 1st image should be what there before I try to make any choices.  The 2nd image should show what happens when I click on range... (I am not provided with any other selection outside of entire document).  The 3rd image is just me showing you a drop down menu of the fit type... to show that I am not seeing any other option that allows me to specify a particular page. When I go to the paper handling menu, it only gives me the option of printing ALL of the even pages or ALL of the odd pages.  I am currently needing to reprint pg 5 and print page 6 of a 6 page all over t-shirt print out.  If you can provide me with any other assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Monique

Because you're talking about "Pages," I assume you want to print from APublisher. This is what Print Dialog looks like for me.
Unfortunately, the forum is on strike, so it is not possible to insert an image - but it looks the same as in the linked help.

I guess from your screenshots, that you want to print from ADesigner. Pages? Pages are not a native document type for ADesigner, so their printing is more complicated.

P.S. if you insist on printing "Pages" from ADesigner, you must select the appropriate page in the Print dialog, and use the Current Page option.

This is true, if the document realy does contain Pages, ie it was created in APublisher.
But if you call something else under the Pages (artboards, canvas, ...?), then the print and its parameters will be different.

@Psenda... Thank you for taking time out to respond to me.  When I said pages, I was trying to express that I need to print a specific page from a tiled design that I've done in Affinity Designer.  I am not familiar with APublisher.  I am not getting the option to print current page (as shown in the images I shared and explained in my previous post).

There is support in Designer for printing the entire document. Or for printing specific Artboards. There is no concept of pages in Designer, except:

  • When you Open a document created in Publisher; or
  • In a PDF output file that you have Exported, where each Artboard that you print would be a page of the PDF document.

If you have a large design that you print tiled over multiple pages, those are not document pages, and the concept of them being pages exists only in the output stream sent to the printer. And, unfortunately, there is no support that I know of to pick a subset of the tiles to print. You can only print the entire document, or a specific Artboard.

You would need to create a new document, with just those parts, and print them. Or print the entire tiled document and choose the pages you want from the output.

In your current document you could probably use the Export Persona to create Slices of the pieces you want, and then to Export them as separate files. And then you could print those files as normal, untiled, documents.

Hi Walt! Thank you for taking time to help me.  I am so new that most of the language you used was over my head, but there was one thing you said that triggered a memory of when I stumbled into the PDF area in the print menu area and so now I believe you have helped me solve my issue.  I am at work right now, but in the that PDF area, there is a preview option.  It allows me to see all of the pages and select specific pages to print.  Thank you, thank you!
