exporting pdf with bleed not working properly - V 1-10.4

Recommended Posts

Since the latest update exporting with bleed for press pdf's is not working properly. The pdf says it's 6 mm wider and higher than the non-bleed size (A4) but thre imsge it shows is missing the bleed and importing it as an image shows the same no-bleed. PLEASE fix this sooner than later. I can't send anything to the printer right now.

Hi @pure&simple,

As Thomaso has demonstrated, this is working as expected for new documents within Affinity Publisher and I've not seen this issue reported elsewhere, so it may be a local issue to your specific file.

Can you please confirm, when you say 'no bleed' - do you mean the bleed area is missing altogether, or the bleed area is exported, but it is blank and does not have the 'overflow' of layers displayed within?

The more information you can provide here, the easier it will be to support you :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

How about your Page Box setting when viewing the PDF in Affinity?
