Affinity Photo wont stitch pano on my Mac

I have had Affinity Photo for over a year and love it. For some reason I can get it to stitch a pano (but have in the past) using 11 Raw files (I thrived initially a 57 file pano but the wheel just kept turning for over 45min so tried with smaller set).

Open to any suggestions/help

Mac is on Catalina, 16KB RAM i5 processor (I am not highly tech savvy)

If you only have 16KB  RAM, then no wonder your mac is struggling. Do you mean 16GB?

What happens if you develop your raw files first, and then load the tiffs into the panorama stack?

It works faster with .tiff or jpeg than raw files
