Affinity Photo - Cropping Tool - Improvement

Can the cropping tool also follow 'standard' OSX keyboard shortcuts so that when alt dragging from a side or top the opposing side moves accordingly. Makes it very easy to crop evenly.

 

Also, why does Photo not have an option to trim the transparent pixels from a document?

Regarding the trim question, have you tried Document ▸ Clip Canvas?
