:40_rage: This is getting genuinely impossible:40_rage:

I've tried a few things to solve the problem with absolutely no luck. See attached screenshot

I'd be using the application and as I'm using it two things can happen. Either (and/or):

  • 1).  Various buttons completely disappear as I mouse over them while moving the mouse around the UI (not even clicking anything).
  • 2). The whole UI (or what really seems like 99% of it) just disappears or massively goes do-do on me and I have to restart the application to resume work (often losing work because I can't see or reactivate the 'File>Save/Save As buttons, in fact often ANY buttons at all!).

I have tried:

  • Reinstalling the application with a clean install. Outcome = no effect, issues persist. :|
  • Disabling in Nvidia Experience the auto scan for new games and applications (inc' auto optimisation). ****ing Nvidia! Outcome = no effect, issues persist. :|
  • Installing earlier versions of Affinity Photo (back 2 versions from latest [1.10.0.1127]. Outcome = no effect, issues persist. :|
  • Installing the latest Nvidia display drivers. Outcome = no effect, issues persist. :|
  • Changing the amount of RAM the application can use, from a mere 3Gb to a whopping 10Gb. I have 64Gb of 3200 DDR4 Ram in my rig (it's a workstation / gaming rig). Outcome = no effect, issues persist. :|

In case anyone's wondering, my 3D graphics settings aren't set for Affinity Photo like many other programs. Is this something I should or conversely, should not allow? Would having it on, help, or might it have no effect or at worst could it make the problem worse?

What gives?! Is anyone else experiencing this persistent headache?! Do please show us your screenshots of your UI disappearing if you have, thanks and let's try to get this b****y problem sorted! :45_persevere:

Thanks. Here hoping it can be solved, soon because I'm beginning to lose my marbles here! :49_triumph:

Please review the lust of third-party apps that cause problems, especially the entry for Nahimic, as it's causing problems for a lot of users.

Thanks, Walt. I did this shortly after (I should have before) posting; sorry AF forum mod's! I disabled the Nahimic processes at start-up in 'Services' in W10 64bit and have just done a reboot; it appears not to have reloaded (thankfully!). Just launched A.F and the UI is intact with no issues. :)
