Adjust width of multiple (sub) cells in single row without changing width of other rows

Apologies if this is not clear -- or if this is somewhere in the tutorials and I have simply missed it.

I think my question is clear from the screenshot.

I'm trying to make all three cells with 12v, 24v and 36v have equal width without changing the overall width of other cells in the same columns.

Is this what you mean? (See image below)

If so, it's doable but I don't know if your existing table can be easily modified as you did not upload a sample Publisher page with that table in it.
