Granddaddy Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 I had reported this for AFPub, but it also affects AFPhoto so I'm cross-referencing it here. Staff Gabe Posted August 20, 2021 Staff Posted August 20, 2021 Hi @Granddaddy, There is no need to create a separate thread if it affects other apps. If you've already mentioned it in the original thread, that's sufficient Quote
Granddaddy Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 I must respectfully disagree with Gabe's comment. The bug report forums are divided by app, clearly inviting submission of bug reports for each app individually whether or not a single type of bug exists in other apps. The bug forums contrast with other forums that are not segregated by app. I think that users of either APhoto or APub should get bug alerts in the forum for the app they are using. Having become confused myself where I had first reported the bug, I decided to cross reference it in the separate bug forums for each app in which I had personally reproduced the bug. There is no reason to assume that my initial report in the APub bug forum would ever be seen by those interested only in APhoto bugs. I myself rarely read the APub bug forum as I rarely use the app. Quote Affinity Photo 2.6.0 (MSI) and 1.10.6; Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 (MSI) and 1.10.6. Windows 10 Home x64 version 22H2. If a bug affects multiple platforms/apps, it should only be reported in one single place (you choose where it's ore appropriate) and just mention it also affects this platform and this app. Many of our bugs would affect all apps on all platforms. Imagine having the same bug reported in 8 different places... Quote
