Layer reacts differently when editing in Designer vs. Photo

Recommended Posts

I was playing around with type and textures; bouncing back and forth between programs (as one does) and then BOOM!!! Out of nowhere this layer decides it wants to look different in a different program. I just thought it was a strange behavior and figured I'd share it in case the devs see something I don't. My workaround was to rasterize and then take it over to designer.

Idk if it's a bug or what, but it's literally never happened so I thought I'd share.

Hi BranBrandon,

Thanks for the file - I have a feeling Designer is actually showing it correctly, as it matches up with how its rendered in both Photo and Designer Windows as well as Photo Mac 1.9.3.

It appears to be the Rectangle cropped 'Texturelabs_Paper_158XL' image with custom Blend Range overlaying the text that is causing all the issues. Removing the rectangular crop will make Photo look the same as Designer!

I'll get it passed over to development to be looked at! Thanks for letting us know.
