Sample all layers

In photoshop this is called 'sample all layers '
For example I can use the smudge or clone tool on an empty  layer , it will then sample from the layers that have actual pixels , so the result will be shown on the empty layer

Depending on which particular tool you’re trying to use, there may be a ‘Current Layer & Below’ option on the Context toolbar.
