GSV Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Hi, I'm a new user of Affinity (all three) on iPad and Mac and so far so good. But... when want to place a new image on the iPad in a new document it doesn't work anymore like before (they weekend). Maybe I changed some presets I don't know. But normally when I wanted to place a new image I used " Place Image" choose import from Cloud. there I would have the choice of my Files and folders in iCloud or on my iPad. I then choose on my iPad folder Affinity Designer and the folder (for instance) Animals ant then I could search by typing Snake on snake. It then showed me the vectors, png etc with the tag snake. If I only type the S now I get the options Recent, on my iPad and Animals. So here it already is different. But I can see different folders which has an S in the name (quite a few). But if I then try to type on to "Sn" it says, nothing found.... Just before I could see folders and elements.(I could find a folder named Snake as well but then I have to scroll my list and open the folder fitrst and look then for a snake.png/vector/etc...) Not a nice workaround solution. What did I change without knowing it and more important how can I change it back to " normal".. Thanks all for replying.. Quote

Open Files app, tap the symbol beside the search box and set search criteria to Name rather than Date. That should fix it.🙂 Alfred 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). The corresponding screen in the Affinity apps has the same symbol with the same menu attached, but it’s completely independent of the Files app. DM1 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
