Hi,

I have a problem when exporting a file from Affinity Publisher til pdf (have also tried png with same outcome): the elements that were supposed to come out with 50% transparency are in the exported file not transparent at all. Why could this be? Also when I look at my screen at the "work area" (don't know what to call it) I see the transparency as I have set it - but in the left thumbnail side of the screen the object is not showing as transparent. Why is this - and perhaps the two issues are related?  I have attached a screen shot of the issue in question :)

I really hop you can help me! Thank you :)

Hi @Pernille BlaabjergWelcome to the forums.

It would help if we had the file to open and check, are you able to upload the file here (public forum) if not you can send me a DM with a download link to take a look. How have you changed the opacity of the object and when exporting to PDF, which preset are you selecting and are you changing any other options?

I cant see any transparency applied in the Publisher file you uploaded

I assume you mean the black rectangle at the bottom of page 4. If so, the opacity is set to 100% in the Layers panel

What did you change, exactly?

Yes I saw the colour was set to 93% but that is still effectively black, not sure why your screenshot is showing grey?

Maybe it's a MAC thing or screen calibration issue as your pink on that page is duller than mine

I have attached a screenshot of what I see with your file.

PS Just notice your colour format is RGB32 (HDR) maybe that's the issue
