Eleanoryoudell Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Hi Whenever I try to set up an artboard as a new document, I have the experience where they seem to get cut off by an invisible boundary on my screen. I attach a couple of screenshots to try and show you what I mean. It seems to happen both as I move each artboard around on the screen and as I use the gesture to zoom in and out of the screen. I’ve checked that there are no other layers in operation. Do you have any suggestions? I’ve never used artboards because of this issue! It’s happened ever since I first installed the software. Many thanks Eleanor Quote

I’m unable to reproduce it on my iPad. Have you tried unclipping the canvas? Maybe you could attach a sample afdesign file here that has the issue. Dan C Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Hi @Eleanoryoudell, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Unfortunately as above, I too am unable to replicate this issue currently. Can you please confirm for me: Does this happen in every Artboard document, or only one specific one? If you restart your iPad, is the issue resolved? You can find out how to force restart your iPad here - I'd also like to request a screen recording of you creating the Artboard document and zooming/panning until this bug appears. Can you please create this and upload it to your reply here for me? If you're unsure how to take a screen recording, please check out our FAQ linked below - Many thanks in advance! Quote
Eleanoryoudell Posted November 1, 2021 Author Posted November 1, 2021 Hi Dan and DM1 Thanks for replying and apologies for my very late response! I’m happy to report that the issue seems to have resolved itself, this may well be because I did a forced restart a few weeks ago for another issue - or maybe my iPad has just turned over a new leaf 😄 Anyway, I can now proceed with exploring exactly what I can do with artboards… Thanks again!
