Jim Monson Posted July 19, 2021 Share Posted July 19, 2021 In the past I could select the lasso tool by hovering over the rectangle tool, but this no longer gives access to the lasso tool nor any other additional tools, in Publisher or in Designer. I find no option to correct this under VIEW, in Preferences, nor does the lasso tool appear in my Customize Tools panel. I must be missing something since I'm sure Affinity has not changed this. walt.farrell Posted July 19, 2021 Share Posted July 19, 2021 The lasso is the freehand selection tool, and is one of the pixel selection tools that you'll find only in Affinity Photo, or the Photo Persona in Publisher, or the Pixel Persona in Designer. It's never been available with the Rectangle Tool, though it might be stacked with the Rectangle Marquee Selection Tool (another of the pixel selection tools).
