Mikey05
I am having problems printing A5 300 gsm card on Canon ix6850 printer. When printing on paper everything is fine, when I switch to the card the position of the image changes and doubles the border at the bottom of the card. I thought originally it was a fault with the printer but have downloaded Gravit (free download) and created the image on that with no problems. It doesn't happen with A4 card. I have attached copy of printer settings.
Dan C
Hi @Mikey05, Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Can you please confirm for me, which exact settings are you changing when switching from Paper to Card? If you could provide screenshots, or let me know both the 'before' and 'after' values then I'm certain we can look into this further for you
Mikey05
When switching from paper to card I have tried Standard setting and Photo Printing. I have attached the setting values.

On 6/22/2021 at 4:34 PM, Mikey05 said: When changing the 'Commonly Used Settings' to Photo Printing, I suspect your printer is turning on the borderless printing option - unfortunately as mentioned above this is a known current bug in Affinity that our developers are working to fix. I'll be sure to 'bump' this report for you now. You may find that as BofG has recommended, exporting to PDF and printing externally should resolve the issue in the meantime
Mikey05
Thank you for the replies. I am very disappointed that I have to pay and download another programme just so that I can print an A5 card.
Mikey05
Thanks for the info, I was looking at Acrobat Reader software. Have now downloaded Adobe Reader and has worked OK, a good work around. Hope Affinity fixes this bug soon as it is very annoying.
