They work differently, M1 handle CPU kernels more selectively, effectively. Also RAM usage isn't fully comparable, means xx GB RAM for Intel isn't the same for M1.

Hi @uneMule,

You can switch to your GeForce GT650M as your primary GPU and then in the performance section of the preferences enable the OpenCL option and this will improve the apps performance.

Bonjour, j'ai testé (il me semble avoir déjà fait mais je ne me souviens plus !).
L'openCL n'est pas supporté par ce périphérique (sans doute trop vieux).
J'aurai tendance à pensé que la GT650M supporte la sortie HDMI et pas l'écran du portable.
Après avoir fait l'essai, les performances paraissent meilleures avec le HD4000 (et l'écran du portable).

Hello, I tested it (I think I have already done it but I don't remember!).
The openCL is not supported by this device (probably too old).
I would think that the GT650M supports the HDMI output and not the laptop screen.
After testing, the performance seems better with the HD4000 (and the laptop screen).
