gdjsky01 Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 I am stuck. I have read all the threads here I can find. But this is different. I need to FORCE the updater / installer to ignore the old 1.8.x installation. According to the Windows 10 control panel, the affinity.msi installer for the old version is missing. It is looking in C:\Users\indan\AppData\Local\Temp\AffinitySetup\6b4f965f-0b84-11eb-a974-10f0056c4944\ Which does not exist No restarting etc is going to help. So... how can I fix this? Or get rid of all vestiges of the old version to update to the new? No installer should depend on a TEMP directory. That is why its called TEMP Quote

Staff DWright Posted June 14, 2021 Staff Posted June 14, 2021 Can you please use the link below to redownload the latest Affinity Designer update and let me know if you are having the same issue. https://affinity.store/update/windows/designer/1/ When the the installer runs it creates a MSI file in the Temp directory for Windows to use to install the app ad this is then deleted once the installation has finished Quote
