If it was the latter, no keycode is needed and I think the app will have installed automatically, so should now be listed on your Start menu. Which app, by the way? If so, you should be able to run it again to be offered a choice between continuing the trial or switching to the full version. If not, running the downloaded installer file (usually found in your Downloads folder) will install the software on your computer, and when you run the installed app for the first time you’ll be prompted to enter your product key.
