How to edit brightness/contrast etc of different objects?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I’m using IOS affinity photo.

Need some advice on changing the contrast/brightness of different objects on a photo.

I tried the selection tool and selected an object, and then I click on the brightness/contrast and I’m able to adjust just that object.
But how do I continue to do that for the next object? I tried selecting a new object and unable to adjust the brightness/contrast of the 2nd object.

Could anyone point to me if there’s any tutorials on this?

‘Thanks.

If you have done the first step correctly you should see a new adjustment layer with a mask in layer panels. This is the brightness/contrast for the first selection. You can double tap this any time to reopen the context menu and readjust.

To adjust the next area, select the original layer (not the new adjustment layer). If the original selection still appears press on screen to get pop up menu and deselect. Now make new selection and apply the adjustment. Etc etc.
