3DJ
I see other Pantone color books, but not the Solid Coated. Am I just missing something? Thanks.

3DJ
Yep found it, trying to add a F’n Pantone color is really poorly thought out. Anyone have any tips? I select the color, I even added it to a shape to make sure I have it in the document. I go to add a global color as a spot color and it doesn’t grab the color thats active in the fill…. WTF?! Dave Gl
I'm working with 2 solid pantone colors and it's a nightmare. They will not export as consistently as pantone colors. There are hundreds of elements on the page. I make sure they are all assigned to the the right spot color and then it exports a few elements correctly but most of them turn to CMYK. I have been screwing with this for about six hours. It would have taken about 5 minutes in Illustrator. I don't understand why the Pantone Solid Coated library is not available from the swatch libraries. The solution mentioned by 3DJ did not work for me. When I create a Global Spot colour it doesn't export to PDF. There are so many things wrong with colour management that I think l will have to give up on AF Designer. Are you looking at the properties in acrobat? I’m not sure I have an answer but wondering how you are inspecting the output file. Do your colour icons have a white dot in their centre? Do you have Honour Spot Colours turned on when exporting as pdf? Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). It should be. (See pic). If having issues it’s a good idea to hard reset the iPad to clear any crap remaining in ram. Has been known to resolve a number of reported issues and always a good idea after app or iOS updates. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
