dannlea Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 This is a very small inconvenience, but when saving a new document, and in particular using Cmd+S to trigger a document save, the "Save As:" Text field is not the active field. In testing it just now, I found that closing the window and reopening it caused the text field to default to the active one again. Quote
SPaceBar Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Hi @dannlea Welcome to the Affinity forums! Could you upload a video of what you are seeing please? Out of interest what macOS are you using too? Quote

thomaso Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 It appears also odd that @dannlea gets the .suffix selected, too: To me (macOS 10.14.6) it directly opens as expected + allows immediate typing without deleting the file ending this way: Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
