anon1
you can use the channels in the channels panel in the bottom right (default) in the lower ones you can right click and use "create greyscale layer" and you can go to layer > rasterize to mask to use a greyscale layer as a mask ans you can cmd click on a layer to load it as a selection and go to select > save as spare channel and then do add and subtract actions with the spare channels I´m not the best one to explain this but it´s definitely possible and I guess it will be improved - I had a pixel selection and used right click on a spare channel "add to pixel selection" but it did not seem to work - both pixel selections had to be loaded from spare channels - maybe someone can check this out - maybe it was also my fault Leigh

Works nicely
anon1
yes that´s possible.... Or you can use the normal adjustments and then go to Layer > Merge Visible to merge the bw with all the adjustments into a new bw layer.
