Talyned
I have a selection made in my photo and want to paste something into that selection. I've read the process is to make the selection into a layer by selecting 'layer duplicate' which I did, and then select 'edit >> paste inside" ... The image I want to paste into my selection appears on the work space (up in the top left corner) but not in my selection. I can't seem to do anything with it, as far as move it into my selection. I'm stumped?
Old Bruce
Hi and welcome to the forums @Talyned Frustratingly Photo cannot do this. You'll have to paste then move, with no marquee selection current in the document for easiest working. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Fixx
Paste inside seems to work only into vector shapes.
