APageInABook
I have just finished a large document in Affinity Publisher. My experience was great, and I learned a lot. During the process, a lot of edits were made and the current version no longer matches the original manuscript. I would like to export the text from the chapters, but other than cutting and pasting, I can't figure out a way to do this. Has anybody here ever done that? Any ideas about the best strategy for it? h_d
Cut (or copy) and paste is the only way as far as I'm aware. 😒 APageInABook 1 Quote Affinity Photo 2.0.3, Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel. Sad to say that you have figured out how to do it. You may be able to link all the text frames together Chapter 1 linked to Chapter 2 linked to .... so as to have one long bit of text. But this depends on how you have your Paragraph Styles set up, it might mess things up. So save a copy to do this one job. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

h_d
Ah yes, hadn't thought. If you're on macOS you can export as PDF and then use Automator, without sending your text to be read by an online converter: loukash and APageInABook 2 Quote Affinity Photo 2.0.3, Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel. Being still on ElCap, usually I'd go via Acrobat X > Save As Word/RTF/whatever.
