bowen192
I have an illustration of a 3D cube. In the illustration a piece of paper is passed over the top, down the side and back under the bottom. AD is great for moving arrows along an isometric shape. However, I want one continuous arrow showing the paper passing over the top and down the side, and then one from the side and under. Basically, this in 3D: Anyone done anything like that or got any hints on where to start?
Staff Dan C Posted April 19, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 19, 2021 Hi @bowen192, Apologies for the delayed response here! Unfortunately I'm not 100% certain what you're looking to achieve here, from your description it sounds as though you may be looking to merge the two arrows in the screenshot provided? But as you have also mentioned 3D isometric designs, and the screenshot is a flat rectangle I'm a little confused. Are you looking to draw an arrow going over, down and under a '3D' cube like the in my screenshot below? Many thanks in advance Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. bowen192
Yes, exactly that! Have you just created a line in the isometric view?

That's correct, simply using the Pen Tool and the Isometric grid, as shown in the below screen recording 2021-05-11 09-59-31.mp4 Alfred 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. bowen192
Yes, that is excellent! Would be nice to see in future the arrowhead react to the isometric grid as well. Thanks, Dan. 😀 Dan C
