spwebtest
Hi guys what I am trying to do is add text on a logo, when I preview via retina or pixel view mode on AD software, it is blurry before and after export. I am working on draw persona and exporting with PNG in export have tried used higher DPI and exported at 1X, 2X, 3X Thanks Scott
JFisher
Hi Scott! Welcome to the forums! :)This seems to be working fine for me, would it be possible for you to provide a copy of the document you are working with so I can take a closer look?Jack
Staff MEB Posted October 16, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 16, 2015 Hi spwebtest, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) If the text is too small it may become blurry. You cannot compare directly what you see in vector view mode with what you see in pixel/retina view mode, unless you're at 100% zoom. This is because vectors are resolution independent and will always look sharp no matter the size you view them. Pixel and Retina view modes show a raster view of the text which is resolution dependent and as such you will start see the pixels as you zoom in. If you attach the file as JFisher suggested we will be able to check if there's any other issue other than what i posted above. spwebtest
Hi MEB and JFisher I can confirm am working with smaller text at 3.6pt what I done was made the document the exact size I needed it in this case 67px by 20px, so would I be better making larger? the resize to what I need. Brilliant software by the way. Thanks Scott fitfood-small-logo-design-file.afdesign
