HUbertus Duwensee
Hello, I am an architect from Germany. I would like to edit architectural drawings with Affinity Designer. The only Import-Function for this use seem to me the PDF Format. Only there i can „reach“ layers, lines, elements etc.. My problem is, that i only can activate the strokes and fills, all on different layers, but i can´t change or manipulate them. I can’t change the Color of the fill and only make the lines bigger or thinner etc. Can anybody give me a tip? Maybe i have to use another Import-Format, i guess EPS would be better, but my CAD Programm Archicad 23 doesn’t export this format…....or change the drawing in vector-graphic? Anyway, thanks for some comment. H
Dan C
Hi @HUbertus Duwensee, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Our sincerest apologies for the delayed responses here, we're working to clear a backlog of tickets that occurred during the release of 1.9.2 & 1.9.3 whilst working from home, so many thanks for your patience and understanding. However you should be able to change the colour/stroke colour for these objects without any issue. Were you able to resolve this issue, or do you have a sample PDF you can provide that still shows this issue? Many thanks in advance! Fixx
Archicad PDF exports should be handily adjusted in AD. Mostly problem is that drawings contain very many paths and finding fillable paths may be hard.
