Bad_Wolf Posted March 29, 2021 Share Posted March 29, 2021 Hi all, This afternoon I posted a thread about Designer, Photo and Publisher crashing while printing. It was just as if there was a common bug in the Affinity suite. However, I also tried to open WordPad and it crashed the whole system just by opening. Making a phone call with Skype had the same result. A Microsoft update in the middle of March is responsible for the crash. When you are affected by this Windows 10 crash, go to your configuration screen and look for Update. There should be an optional update. Also even when your system says you are up to date, go for the optional update. You will see an update. download and install it. Restart your computer and it is fixed. I searched for hours to finaly find the solution, so I share my knowledge here so others who have the same problem know what to do. I hope this helps.
