MrSinapa
Hello, I have a little problem and I hope that is somewhere in options. You can see my problem in screenshot. When I import image I want to have visible whole image not just part which is in my actuall drawing area. I have one more question, when will be printing export available? (export with crop marks). Thank you very much and have a nice day.
Staff Callum Posted October 9, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2015 Hi Mr Sinapa, Welcome to the Forums :) If you select the Move Tool [V] and then click the bag to select it, you should be able to drag it around so that it is completely on your document. Print export is something we are working on but we don't have an ETA for it right now. C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. MrSinapa
Thank you for fast reply, but thats not what I want. I want to work with pictures like in illustrator or inkscape. When I put picture out of my drawing area I can still seee it even I don't working with it. See the difference in my screenshots. One is illustrator and one is affinity. I would like to know permanent solution. Affinity designer: http://vojtavalka.cz/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Affinity-Designer.png Adobe Illustrator http://vojtavalka.cz/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Adobe-Illustrator.png In Illustrator I can still see the picture even if it's not in the drawing area and work with them. In Affinity when I move with picture outside of drawing area I can't see it. Thank you for your reply.
Staff MEB Posted October 9, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2015 Hi MrSinapa, Currently you can't use the pasteboard area (the area around the document) to store/view objects/layers. This is already on our roadmap to be implemented in a future update. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Staff Callum Posted October 9, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2015 Hi MrSinapa, This feature is called an Artboard and its not something that Affinity currently supports. However it has been requested many times in the past and is currently on our Roadmap to be added in the future. C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
